Hello Families!
For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to be an early childhood educator. Children at preschool age are my favorite!
By providing a rich and exciting environment, your child will learn to recognize and regulate their feelings and emotions, build on their natural curiosity, ask questions about the world around them, communicate their needs and make connections with others.
With my background in special education and past experience working as a Preschool teacher in the public school, I can individualize learning for your child in a warm and safe environment while preparing them for Kindergarten at the big school!

I want to get to know your family and help make connections with other families in our program by providing fun family events all year long: Meet ‘n Greet, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Gingerbread House Decorating, Valentine's Tea Party, Teddy Bear Picnic and end of the year Movie night, to name a few! You are welcome to volunteer in our classroom during the school year and/or at any of our events.

#3: Your Child will Make Close Friends!
A small class allows your child to be comfortable and grow valuable friendships with the other preschoolers and teacher. Because conflict-resolution skills are vital to learn at this age, we help your child work through their problems with other children. Pretty soon they’re using the same strategies and words we’ve taught them, all by themselves!
#4: Your child will be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Your child will receive individualized instruction using thorough assessments and FUNdamentals curriculum. Preschoolers will be guided in the areas they need to improve, and challenged when they are ready for more. Our balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities follows the NAEYC guidelines to strengthen your whole child’s development: Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical.

Teaching children is a huge responsibility, and I take that responsibility seriously! Not only is this preschool state licensed and CPR/First Aid Certified, but also has distinct policies and procedures regarding health and safety help to keep your child in a safe, clean environment. We’re constantly cleaning, washing hands, and monitoring all activities to prevent any accidents.

In building relationships, I'll help your child gain self confidence, grow in all areas of development and learn that they can do hard things. Theme based activities and keeping the learning environment fresh and exciting helps foster children's natural curiosity and wonder what we will be doing next!
#7: All of our events are free!
To extend our learning we go on several field trips each year, and you get to join your child on them. We’ve gone to places like: the Zoo, Cabela’s, Apple Orchard, Police Station, Fire Station, Popcorn Store, Grocery Store, Taekwondo, Domino’s Pizza, Pumpkin Patch, and more! We’ll also celebrate special occasions with parties for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, and your child’s birthday!
#7: Your child gets a shirt and portfolio!
Each year, your child will receive a t-shirt for that school year to wear on Spirit Days. We also save some of your child’s artwork for a special portfolio you get at graduation.

You have the opportunity to enrich your preschool experience by enjoying book orders, school pictures, graduation pictures, and weekly communication via the Brightwheel app that includes . . . . more pictures of your adorable preschooler!

When should I call to register my child?
It’s never too early to call, so call as soon as you think about registering to ensure a spot for your child!
When does preschool start? Can I enroll mid-year?
Preschool is open 10-months during the school year (Sept.-June) . If we have spots available, you can enroll mid-year. Please call us to see if we have any spots available.
How old does my child need to be to attend?
Preschool classes are for children who are ages 3-5 (and "independent almost-3-year-olds") by Sep. 1.
Does my child have to be potty trained?
Yes. If you have any questions about whether or not your child is ready, feel free to give a call. I am here to help!
What is your teaching philosophy?
I follow a “whole child” philosophy where I work with you to improve your child’s Social, Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical skills. The curriculum is based on the NAEYC guidelines and features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. I also incorporate Fundamentals Preschool Curriculum, science experiments and Yoga. Your child will learn to socialize, make friends, develop social and emotional skills, and be more than ready for Kindergarten!
Are there additional fees during the year?
No. Your registration fee covers all your child’s supplies and reserves a spot in our program. Your child will also receive a preschool shirt to wear on Spirit Days and a graduation portfolio!
What if my child has food restrictions?
Food allergies or restrictions are always taken seriously. We will inform families and create nut-free classrooms any time a child’s allergy is severe enough to require an epi pen if needed.
Is the registration fee refundable?
No.
How many students do you have per class?
We will only have up to 6 students in class this year so your child will gets lots of 1-on-1 time.
